Week5 EOC: Superbowl Commercials

This commercial stood out to me as very entertaining and yet a little disturbing at the same time. First of all, I love Mercedes Benz, I think it is a car that displays affordable luxury. The scenario where the guy has a choice to sign a waiver with the "Devil" and receive all the glits and glamour that come with the vehicle is the disturbing part. People complain about the Volkswagen commercial being controversial, this is saying that making a deal with the devil and buying a Mercedes go hand in hand. Yes it was nice that in the very end the guy did not sign the waiver, however people don't really care about the ending. Once you have put Usher and Willem Dafoe, the man who plays the Green Goblin in Spider Man, you will most likely have an audience's attention. It seems that most people find it somewhat exciting or daring to do something involving the devil. I think it sends the wrong message but I do not make up the population, I am definitely out numbered when it comes to people who do not agree with what I am saying. I can admit that it was well made and everything flowed together real nice. I didn't like but it was a success.
